Critical Care Relief for Bushfire Australia Appeal

The bushfires of Australia is happening at an unprecedented level.  Already forests over 6 million hectares (over half the size of Iceland) has been destroyed, and it will still burn for weeks, if not months, to come.  The amount of destruction on our landscape, community and wildlife will forever scar our nation, and no doubt this is our Chernobyl, this is our Tsunami.

Critical care personnel dedicate their lives towards improving the wellbeing of others in times of dire need, and not surprisingly, our community has rallied and offering relief, support and compassion to those affected.  So many of my colleagues now work tirelessly through the smoke to provide care in disaster conditions, tremoring through their own ventolin puffs.

This is my fundraising page to directly help those in need, through our international critical care community, to continue the challenging and meaningful work that's needed for not just now, but for many months if not years to come.
