Hi everyone, this is pretty difficult for me to even type out as I have always been one to refuse help that is offered to me. However, it’s time for me to accept the fact that I do indeed need any and all help I can receive right now. On the last day of 2020, the worst year ever for everyone, I received a call from Houston Methodist that I have been diagnosed with Classic Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer. As of today Thursday, January 28, I now have stage IV lymphoma cancer. It has now spread across multiple parts of my body including my bones. I will be receiving all my care at Houston Methodist which is one of the best hospitals in the world. However, we all know how expensive medical treatment can be, especially cancer treatment. Today I am asking for everyone’s help. I will be using this money to cover any extra medical bills, transportation, meals, and my own bills/expenses since I have also taken an unpaid leave from work. I will be undergoing some rigorous chemo and immunotherapy treatment which will impede me from working at my job and earning my usual wage. I currently find myself at the lowest I’ve ever been financially and it would help tremendous if you guys are able to donate however much you can. I truly wish money wasn’t an issue but unfortunately it is. I am positive I will overcome this. I’m still so young and have so much left to live for.
