Cristian's College Fund

My name is Erica Meisler and I was lucky enough  to be Cristian's fifth grade teacher. I’m so proud Cristian that I wanted to set up a GoFundMe to help support him.

Cristian is currently a senior at Carson High School.  Cristian will be attending Dartmouth College, which had an acceptance rate of only 6% this year, which was more than he dreamed possible last year. He was planning on taking courses at Western Nevada College or possibly heading straight into the workforce. 

Cristian was also accepted into numerous other Ivy League schools. He also received offers at University of Southern California, University of Pennsylvania (a 5% acceptance rate), Cornell, Vanderbilt, and Duke ( a 4% acceptance rate), just to name a few.  

Cristian is a first-generation American and the first in his family to attend college. Cristian is an AP student with a current GPA of a 5.1. His hard work, dedication and perseverance is truly inspiring.  Along with his impressive academic achievements, Cristian is active in many sports teams and clubs. 

Cristian wants to empower and encourage local elementary students like him. He entered school as an English Language Learner and wants to show students that with hard work and determination, they too can achieve what they once thought as impossible. He will be talking with students at his former elementary school to share his message.

This is truly an amazing achievement and we want to help Cristian chase his dreams. While Cristian received a scholarship covering nearly all his expenses for his first year of school, we are looking to support and ensure his continued success.
