The Landlord of the property has received a higher offer and is trying to nullify their lease and purchase agreements with the owners of Big House Produce who operate the Cresson Sanatorium and Prison. The Landlord is seeking to evict Big House Produce from operating the Cresson Sanatorium and Prison before we can acquire the site in order to take the higher offer. The Landlord intends to sell the property to a group that is not interested in the site’s history or preservation. The fate of this treasured location hangs in the balance.

Cresson's unique tales, filled with triumph and endurance, must not fade into oblivion. It is cherished by countless members of our communities and draws visitors from far and wide.
