Cremation expenses for John

Hi everyone,
my name is Lauren and my step father John tragically passed away Thursday afternoon. He suffered a major heart attack leaving him on life support and being med flighted to Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Unfortunately, there was too much damage to his heart and other vital organs. Difficult decisions had to be quickly made and he passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
John was the breadwinner for him and my mom and unfortunately there were no funds or plans in place. He was still young and hadn’t prepared for a situation such as this. My mother is going through a very tough time and left with no funds for medical bills or cremation expenses. We are trying to help her out with expenses as best we can, but we can only do so much. She would greatly appreciate any help so that she may be able to pay his medical bills which will be very expensive and for his cremation. John was an extremely caring, friendly, and free spirited individual and my mother only wants to respect his wishes of being cremated, it would mean the world to her. We thank you in advance
