Creek fire neighbor

Scott is a relly good friend and neighbor who has lost everything to the Creek fire. He is a great finish carpenter and built some great structures on our property as well as helping us with a major bathroom flood. When COVID hit he wasnt able to get construction work and he didn't want handouts... So we hired him around the neighborhood to do odds and end cleanup jobs.. Splitting wood, weedwacking, cutting down dead trees, etc. When he got evacuated he grabbed his dog Hannah, some tools and left with pretty much the clothes on his back. Hannah was put up at Clovis North and Scott in a hotel room. We met them at the dog park because all our dogs grew up together. The next day he was called by a vet and told they thought Hannah had parvo. A few days later when she stopped responding to treatment they ran more tests and determined it was leukemia. Scott snuck her into the hotel room where she passed away by his side. He has no home to go back to.. I am hoping to cover the vet bill and cremation cost.. Maybe even get him started with some winter clothes.. Thank you friends and neighbors for anything you can spare
