WANT TO HELP OUR CREEK FIRE FIREFIGHTERS?
From Blue Moon Yoga & Juice Bar owner Michael Easton : "As someone who worked for many years as a firefighter on fires like the Creek Fire, where the shifts on the fire lines can sometimes be multiple days long, taking your boots off either during or after a long shift and getting in to a fresh, clean, dry pair of good, quality socks is truly one of the best feelings imaginable. Firefighters can go through multiple pairs of socks during these long, strenuous shifts and doing laundry between shifts in not always a luxury they have. That's why we are starting the #CREEKFIRE Firefighter Sock Project @bluemoonyoga and @bluemoonjuicebar.
HOW YOU CAN HELP: Donate $30 to our GoFundMe page and you will be purchasing 4 pairs of quality, merino wool blend socks. (If you want to donate more, that's more socks for our firefighters!) These socks will be delivered to the Creek Fire Base Camp and distributed to the firefighters that are doing an INCREDIBLE job protecting our own backyard in the Sierras and the places that many of us grew up going to and making so many great memories. Blue Moon Yoga and Juice Bar will gladly match every donation (up to $500.) Please donate now through Sunday and let's get our amazing firefighters in to some fresh, new socks as a sign of our appreciation."
