The Mission
We want to give every teacher and child the same access to the design thinking process to help tackle the worlds most difficult problems. Now that we've got a platform being used in public, private and charter schools and non-profit after school programs in 4 states it's time to bring CREATOMsetgo to the everybody!
The Goals
Your donations will help us accomplish our two launch goals:
1. Raise $7,000 by March 15th to manufacture our first order of 1000 sets to keep our prices affordable.
2. Raise our last $2500 by May 1st to attend and present at ISTE 2017(International Society of Technology in Education) conference in San Antonio, TX in June.
The Story
Since 2011, I've been working with teachers from the South Eastern United States to South India working on the best ways to bring design thinking into classroom projects. During a coaching session last year, the 5th grade team at Centennial Academy in Atlanta, GA expressed how difficult it was for students to know where they were in the design process. They asked me if I could take the design thinking process and make a graphic organizer to guide students through project-based learning. The first version of the design canvas was born!

From this request last year I began to develop a framework which includes project menus and a deck of cards that could help students design and manage their own projects as well as onboard teachers into using a design thinking model for project based learning.
