CreativelyBijou a local Colorado-based artist

Hi, my name is Bijou and I am a local artist that is based in the Colorado Mountains. About 2 years ago I decided to take the plunge and begin a small side-hustle and created my very own art business called 'CreativelyBijou' where I sell original works as well as print reproductions of my of offbeat art & design. What started as a simple experiment has evolved into something that I love with all my heart. I love to create fun, funky & fresh pieces that depict the humor and beauty of living in a small Colorado ski town. My work itself celebrates the ski culture that surrounds me, a large part of the Colorado life. Being able to connect with locals and tourists alike over the funny ways you see and try to carry your skis; or the beauty of being able to dive on into the deep powder and find your golden run, has been amazing and has brought a lot of joy to my life. I create simple, energetic and colorful pieces that are touched with a spark of whimsy; a style that I like to call offbeat! My goal is to eventually be able to move to art full time in the next 5 years. Currently, I plan to invest in the tools & time it takes to reach this goal.

My dream and reason for creating this fundraiser is to ask for support in being able to create funds that would allow me to do the following:

-- invest in the proper equipment to allow me to digitize more of my works to allow for large scale reproductions

--expand to experimenting with creating apparel with my designs

--help cover monthly costs of creative programs such as adobe cloud that are necessary

--allow for me to dedicate an additional day of the week to artwork creation and business maintenance

With your help I would be able to continue to actively pursue something that I am extremely passionate about as well as make it possible to be able to dedicate more time in expanding 'creativelybijou'.
