Help us make a difference! A shelter dedicated to LGBTQIA+ individuals that could support them and guarantee safety would help our community tremendously. Safe spaces and shelters for LGBTQIA+ individuals is essential to their well being. Lack of these shelters creates potential dangerous situations for LGBTQIA+. More information about YWCA of Monterey County: Our focus at the YWCA of Monterey County is helping individuals that are in crisis due to Domestic Violence issues as well as Human Trafficking. We have two safehouses that help our clients seek refuge and counseling to improve there current situations. We also have a legal advocacy department that assists with any needs our clients may have. Our hopes are to change the lives of others through a diverse offering of support.
