A memorial in honour of Leigh Black

Leigh tragically lost her life when she was struck by a bus while walking across a pedestrian crossing at the front of Bateau Bay shops on the Central Coast of NSW on the 19th of August 2022.

Leigh was a 46 year old loving and most amazing mother to two young Children, and a devoted and loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Leigh was beautiful, kind, full of life, and taken far too soon.

Leigh was an incredibly giving person and always put others before herself. Leigh and her husband own a local premium wine business at Avoca, Leigh was extremely hard working, she was also actively involved in our local community and always gave back to charities close to her heart.

Leigh’s sudden passing has impacted a lot of people in our community. Leigh was a beautiful, active and fun mum who loved taking her children to local parks, beaches and playgrounds on the Central Coast.

In honour of Leigh, Leigh’s family would like to use any money raised to give back to the community by upgrading a local park and playground facilities that all families can come and enjoy for years to come.
