Cranial Helmet for Samuel

In May, our family welcomed our new edition to our family, Samuel John Lucas. We knew that he would have medical problems to include his heart, spine problems, and a missing kidney. He successfully made it through his first heart surgery but we almost lost him the same night. Due to being cared for in an intensive care unit for almost a month, he continued to lie the same way since we couldn't pick him up and hold him due to his medical conditions and being hooked up to everything. Additionally, we found out that Samuel also has a shortened muscle on one side of his neck, which contributes to his lying on the same side all the time. The neck is slowly getting corrected with help from various specialists, but his head is now severely misshapen and needs to be corrected soon before it causes more problems. We recently found out that our insurance will not cover the cranial helmet that he desparately needs to correct his head plates and get them back into alignment. We filed a rebuttal to the denial of coverage and that was just rejected as well. What our family is asking is if anyone can contribute to helping us purchase the cranial helmet for Samuel so that he can have this condition corrected soon. Any contribution is appreciated.
