Helping KIRK GEIS

Well - It is really hard to even put this together.  It hasn't even been two years since my younger brother, Kamron, passed away in an automobile accident.  But, here I am.  Trying so hard to understand what the Lord has in store.  We just found out that KIRK, my older brother, has stage IV pancreatic cancer.  What a blow to his family and all of us.  His children, Grace, 9, and Jarrett, 7, have yet to understand what this really means.  Both he and Shannon, his wife, just changed jobs recently and they do not have health insurance.  It has been difficult enough to come to terms with what will happen, but adding to that - the financial burden of this illness on their family - it is tremendous.  I am trying so hard to find ways to help them.  I am only asking for anything that could possibly help them and ease their troubles, if even just a little.  The picture shows almost all of us last Sunday, before the actual diagnosis (missing are his children, and a few more of my neices/nephews).  We are so thankful to have such a strong support system in family and friends and a knowledge that we can be an eternal family.  We love you - Kathrine
