Pancreatic Cancer

Hello everyone my name is LaShawn I am a Medical Assistant in the state of Florida.  The lady in the photo is my mom Barbara. My reason for this go fund me is because my mother was diagnosed with cancer on 11/18/19.  I flew to NY to be with her for the results but had to come back home due to work. She has no one to care for her in NY as myself and my brother live out of state. My original plan was to go back home to care for her but that plan has since changed. As of now my mom will be moving here to Florida with me. I will still be taking FMLA to help care for her through her recovery as well as chemo treatments. I will still need any help I can get as my financial situation will not change. I will receive FMLA from my employer but will not be receiving a paycheck. Since I will not be receiving any money I am asking for any help I can get from anyone I can get it from. My mom although she looks good for her age is and elderly person living on a meager Social Security check and has no  means to afford all the things that she will need during this time. I am doing this go fund me without her knowledge because while we are a proud bunch I will not let my pride get in the way of caring for my mother and doing anything I have to to see that she's taken care of to the best of my ability.
