Only one month ago, Coy became ill Because of complications with muscular dystrophy and has since spent time in and out of the hospital and rehab - unable to work. With the help of friends and family, Coy began to heal and Coy and Pat were able to make it through. But with the awful landfall of Hurricane Harvey, their lives are turned upside down once again. Their home was destroyed by the hurricane, and because of Coy's condition, they were unable to properly evacuate. They lived several days without cell phone service, electricity, and even water with family members that stayed behind with them. They are still without running water, electricity, and have found it difficult to get food. Coy's condition has worsened and he is back in the hospital. With the loss of support of Coy's job, the loss of their home and many belongings, and the pain they have endured - we, their family, are asking for your help during this difficult time. *Coy and Pat are still unable to be reached by phone most of the time.
