COWF and the Navajo Nation
The Children of War Foundation is dedicated to helping children and families all over the world from Syria to Kenya, from Haiti to Lebanon, and sometimes we even end up working in our own backyard. Here at COWF, we are building on our initiative launched earlier this year by creating a campaign in order to enable us to get supplies for the families and children in the Navajo Nation.
The whole community of the Navajo Nation has raised concerns regarding their water source, which has reportedly been contaminated with Uranium, so we would like to use these funds to help bring them fresh, safe water.
In addition to this, the money will also go to sanitation supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer.
Lastly, one of the houses on the reservation has a roof that has been severely weathered over the years and is now in danger of collapsing, so these funds will also help us to get supplies to rebuild it.
Thank you in advance for your help!
