COVID-19 Support Program in Rappahannock County
Working alongside the community, Off The Grid of Sperryville, VA will be coordinating a support operation for county residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We recognize that getting through this crisis is something we must undertake together. Our intended strategy consists of the following.
MEALS:
For many in our community, as unemployment spikes food affordability will increasingly become an issue. To address this, our kitchens will produce, freeze and donate healthy meals. We will work with local farmers in an attempt to incorporate their produce into some of our products for donation. Distribution will begin at the Rappahannock Food Pantry and to other impacted individuals that have contacted us. We will also be offering a free meal for those in need while we are open for production.
Management at Off the Grid will head this endeavor on an entirely voluntary basis and any funds collected will go directly into meal production and distribution.
If you want to contribute to our community support program please do so here.
If you are someone in need, please contact us below if you need assistance beyond Food Pantry support. If you are hungry and without resources please come by during hours of production for a free burrito or meal.
If you are a local organization that wants to partner with us, please let us know and we can discuss ways to collaborate and continue to uplift our community in these trying times.
Stay safe, be healthy!
