Covid-19 support for Caye Caulker tour guides

I am reaching out to you on behalf of the tour guides I work with to ask for your help in these trying times.  Belize's economy has been hit hard by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our borders were closed, and the tourism industry has collapsed, leaving many unemployed and without means to provide for their loved ones. Most of the incredibly hard-working guides from Caye Caulker are the sole breadwinners in their households. Furthermore, government relief has been minimal (a single payment of $75 USD for 3months).

As borders remain closed and recreational travel in the foreseeable future is uncertain, the guides I work with and their families would benefit greatly from your support.  Any help will go a long way to assist with the basic everyday necessities of food, shelter, and medical expenses in these challenging times.
