COVID-19 Relief PPE Drive

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been over 11 million cases of COVID-19 in the United States and over 250,000 deaths. The need for Personal Protective Equipment remains dire in many high risk areas. According to the PPE Shortage Index from September 2020, 80% of facilities reported having a shortage of one or more types of PPE. While face masks, face shields, gloves, and sanitizers are important, Get Us PPE also considers the specific needs of individual institutions and works to provide a wide range of PPE including surgical gowns, sneeze shields, and disposable booties.  

          Get Us PPE is a branch of AFFIRM. Founded in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is the largest non-profit in the nation that delivers PPE to people in need. They source and deliver PPE to under-resourced populations like nursing homes, rural communities, and homeless shelters with specific attention to equity and need. Since the beginning of the pandemic, over 21 million units of PPE have been requested nationally; Get Us PPE is striving to bridge this gap with the distribution of over 3 million units so far.
