COVID-19 Relief for Tender Mercies

The first confirmed case of COVID-19 was made in Uganda on March 22, 2020. AIDSpirit USA continues to provide education, medical needs, and a family base for the children and young adults supported by Tender Mercies. Due to the country's lacking medical resources and financial disparities, we are worried about the children we support at Tender Mercies entering this time of social distancing and quarantine.

Please consider donating to this emergency fund to help provide food and supplies needed as the children return to the Tender Mercies home from their schools. We support over 75 students through your generosity. We will need increased funds for food, travel costs for the students to return home, and any supplies they may need as they enter this uncertain time. 

While so many of us are facing the confusion and uncertainty of the COVID-19 global pandemic, I encourage us to come together to help those in need. While the United States lacks medical-grade masks for health officials, Uganda lacks health officials at all. No matter the size of the donation, we so appreciate you thinking of us in this time of need.
