In this time of chaos and uncertainty, it is easy to become overwhelmed and helpless. As COVID-19 spreads at an alarming rate across the globe it is easy to feel powerless to stop it or make a difference. But we are not powerless.
YOU can make a difference….But how?
By donating KN95 respirators and surgical masks to hospitals in need.
There are times in life where we can step up and make a significant impact. This is one of those times and together we can save many lives by making this happen.
We will be placing an order for masks to donate to Hospital Systems in New York, Cleveland, Nebraska, Chicago and Detroit and other hospital systems in need across the country. We need YOUR help to reach our goal of 1,000,000 masks donated.

It is easy to see the daily statistics and forget those numbers represent a mother or a father, a brother or a sister. These are real people and they are dying. I get it, the future is uncertain. Cash is tight and some of you cannot afford to help at this time; and that is ok. However, some of us are fortunate enough to have the resources to make a difference now.
We have all heard about flattening the curve in order to reduce the demand on the nation’s health care system. There is another side to this equation- maximizing capacity. Every day our health care workers are on the front lines treating COVID-19 and risking their lives. In order to maximize capacity, they need PPE (personal protective equipment) to ensure their own safety so that they can treat those in need. When our health care workers become ill, we all suffer and fighting this virus becomes more difficult.
We have secured manufacturing capacity with a Chinese EO member company and have arranged DSV Global Support and Logistics to air freight masks from Shanghai to Cleveland AT COST!! Thank you DSV!
YOU CAN HELP! We ask that you commit to purchase any quantity of KN95 respirators or surgical masks that you can afford to donate.
Delivery costs per carton:
KN95 Respirators: 1 carton (480 masks): $1,000 landed cost into Cleveland
FDA certified Surgical Masks: 1 carton (2000 masks): $925 landed cost into Cleveland
Both KN95 Respirators and Surgical Masks are needed. KN95 Masks are used to protect the medical professionals. Surgical masks are used to protect the patients & also extend the life of the KN95 Respirators (wearing both allows the KN95 masks to be changed less frequently).
Freight to New York City, Omaha, Chicago and Detroit are already planned and accounted for once supplies land in Cleveland. If other locations are requested by our donors, we can accommodate but will have additional freight costs and logistics to sort out.
FAQs:
When? our intention is to release the PO to our manufacturer Wed. afternoon (4/1).
How Long? Total 8-10 days estimated from order to delivery. Manufacturing process 4 days and 4-5 days for air shipment and customs clearance.
Who? Our intention is to donate to New York, Ohio, Nebraska, Illinois and Michigan. However, based on needs at the time of shipment, masks may also be sent to other cities. https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/get-involved-how-you-can-help
What if I want to donate to another city, hospital or charity? If you would like your purchased masks to go to another hospital or city not mentioned, we ask that you cover the shipping cost from Cleveland, Ohio to your destination.
Can I buy these masks for resale? NO. That’s just not cool.
Can I buy masks for my employees or company? Yes. But we ask that you donate at least one carton for each carton that you purchase for company or personal use. Also, individual purchases need to be set up outside of the GoFundMe page. Please reach to Tim McGill or Laird Daubenspeck to coordinate.
