COVID-19 Fund for Quarantined ACFD Families

Hi! We are Lily, Mia, Harper and Sadie. Our fathers are Arlington County Firefighters and are working on the front lines to help people who are having symptoms related to COVID-19, as well as other medical and fire related emergencies.
As more people are becoming sick and our dads are helping them, they are at greater risk for being exposed and for contracting the virus. We want to help all the people who work with our dads and who may have to be quarantined due to being exposed to COVID-19. When a firefighter is quarantined, they are required to stay home for at least 14 days. During that time their family members may also become exposed and may experience symptoms. With that, they may lose additional income that the family requires to meet their basic needs.
We are raising money to help ease the burden on these families during this time and hope they can use this support for grocery delivery membership costs, groceries or other essentials.
Currently there are only a few Arlington County Firefighters who have been quarantined and hopefully the numbers remain low. If we meet our goal and do not need to support many quarantined families, the remaining funds will go to the Local 2800 Arlington Friends and Family Benevolent Fund to support families who lose active and retired firefighters who pass away.
