Covid-19 stopped our season but not our dreams!

At the beginning of this spring season the Fossil Park Fire 12U team was fired up and ready to play baseball. This season was especially important as it would be their last year playing on the smaller field but more importantly they were getting ready for a team experience of a lifetime. These 11 & 12 year old boys (and girl) were looking forward to traveling the road together to play at the Cal Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This is a week long tournament that many young ball players look forward to their whole lives. Just as the second game of our season ended so did the practices, team gatherings, games and family fun. As we were all put on safer at home orders not only did we lose the oppurtunity to finish our season but we also lost the oppurtunity for all of our fundraising events and plans. We are very lucky to have found that our experience in Pigeon Forge is still a go for our week in July and we are very much looking forward to getting back to the game we love. In this crazy and unprecedented time we are turning to the community via this platform for help in meeting our fundraising needs. Anything is appreciated and will definitely put smiles on the faces of 12 very deserving baseball players! Thank you!!!
