COVID Relief Fundraiser for GVP Hospital, VIZAG
Andhra Pradesh declared 20,034 COVID cases today, May 5th, 2021. The Visakhapatnam district reported a whopping 1,722 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. This is the highest single-day tally in the district since the first case was reported in March last year. The death toll keeps increasing and crematoriums are constantly filling up in the Visakhapatnam district. We all know someone close to us that has been extremely affected by this pandemic's second wave.
The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation has declared the GVP Institute of HealthCare and Medical Technology (GVP Hospital) as one of the dedicated COVID major hospitals to provide COVID patients relief and treatment. But the vastness of the calamity is truly testing the infrastructure and resources of this private hospital. The depleting stockpile of life-saving equipment is not going to match the demand for saving the lives of our friends, family, neighbors, and loved ones in and around Vizag. GVP Hospital is one of the easily accessible hospitals to the poor neighboring villages around Vizag and turning down poor patients due to lack of beds or ventilators or even oxygen for that matter is simply unfathomable.

Ventilators - 8 ( @ Rs 10,00,000 each)
Bi PAP machines - 15 ( @ Rs 1,00, 000 each)
Oxygen Concentrators - 15 ( @ Rs 90,000 to Rs1,00,000 each)
PPE Kits - ( 60 per day @ Rs 450 for one month = Rs 8,00,000 total)
Oxygen - Rs 65,00,000
