COVID relief for Secoyas in the Amazon

The intention of this GoFund me is to raise money for Secoya communities in the Amazon to support them during the COVID pandemic. The Secoyas are an indigenous nationality living between Ecuador and Peru.
Food insecurity is a serious issue facing these communities, and Fundacion Raiz is working with indigenous leaders to distribute food packages to Secoya communities.
Many of the profitable activities that Secoyas partake in have been jeopardized by the pandemic, so they currently have no income sources for purchasing basic consumer goods.
We are Ecuadorian citizens who are deeply concerned with the COVID situation among indigenous populations. At some point or another, we have worked with Secoya communities through our involvement with Fundacion Raiz.
Secoya elders are the ones who are more at risk, and losing them would mean losing valuable ancient knowledge that is essential for this millenary culture.
20$ food packages have been designed to feed a family of 5 for a week.
Our goal is to be able to provide food for 120 Seocoya communities for at least 1 month.
The total number of packages we are raising money for is 480, which adds up to 9,600$.
*All operational and administrative costs are already covered, so all this money goes to the purchasing of food packages.
