Covid Relief for Herb & LeeAnn Cover

In late October, Herb and his wife LeeAnn tested positive for Covid 19. While both of their symptoms were mild at first, Herb's symptoms we're becoming too difficult to bare at home, and by the beginning of November, he was admitted to UT hospital.

Herb's condition quickly worsened. He was soon placed on oxygen, then was sent to the ICU, then he was sedated and placed on a ventilator. We saw signs of hope in small victories, only to be met by bad news again. Finally doctors decided to do a tracheotomy. The surgery seemed to go well, but complications arose and he took a turn for the worst. He tested negative for Covid, but the damage to his lungs had already been done. On December 14th, Herb passed away, leaving all who knew him shocked and in disbelief.  

Herb's faithfulness to his church where he  served as a minister of music, his elementary school where he taught Special Education students, and most importantly, his home he shared with his beloved wife LeeAnn all feel the heaviness of his death.

This Go Fund Me is in place with the intention of loving on and serving Herb's family- most of all LeeAnn- during their time of need with Herb now gone.

All donations received through this Go Fund Me will go towards the financial needs the Covers have during this time: whether that be funeral expenses, medical bills from Herb's care at UT, or helping LeeAnn make ends meet as her husband and caregiver won't be coming home.
