Covid bills & help for auntie Kelly & uncle Mike

For those of you who already know, my aunt Kelly (my moms youngest sister) was diagnosed last year with a rare progressive neurodegenerative disease called MSA (multiple system atrophy).  This disease affects both the autonomic nervous system (the part of the nervous system that controls involuntary action such as blood pressure or digestion) and movement, and as such, my mom, grandma, and other aunties (along with Kelly's husband and kids Matthew, Nicole, and Nathan) have been taking care of Kelly with everyday tasks more and more over the last two years as she slowly loses her ability to walk, talk or use general motor skills.  Aunt Kelly suffered a stroke this past Saturday (Jan 2) which paralyzed the right side of her body and when she was admitted to the hospital for the stroke, she tested positive for COVID and has now caught pneumonia. 

Unfortunately, my uncle Mike developed symtpoms and tested positive for covid (most likely from driving as an Uber driver) and gave it to his wife (aunt Lori) and family. Our uncle Mike has been in the ICU on a ventilator for the last 8 days due to covid and is also fighting viral pneumonia. He has been reduced (from 85%) to 60% oxygen from a ventilator but his brain function is still unknown as he is still not conscious. His condition has not improved in the last 4 days but the nurses and doctors say he is showing some signs of alertness as of now. 

In the meantime, hospital bills are stacking up while no one in the family can work since they all caught covid and for Kellys family, because their mama needs a lot of help at this time. Our family is humbly asking for any donations you can spare to help with hospital bills, household bills and once auntie Kelly is out of the hospital, we will need to change a lot of things around the house and purchase lifting devices and other assisted living devices to help get her around. No amount is too small and our family thanks everyone who can help in any way soo soo much.
