Covid & Car Thieves: Help an Artist & Family

We were surviving the pandemic and 2020, getting by on a shoestring, and then all of a sudden we weren't, and it's because of a thief.
Someone cut the catalytic converter off of my car, and they weren't happy with just that - they destroyed or took a few other things on their way out.
It was only a 2003 Honda, but it was our way around. We had no choice but to sell what was left to a guy as a parts/project and start trying to raise the money for new (used) wheels.
About Bright:
I'm a musician and author from Philly. (my patreon is here) I've moved my performances online in response to the pandemic, and taken a substantial cut to my average earnings. I don't mind, honestly - it's the least any of can do to help the USA survive this.
But it's left me without enough savings to cover this. I was going to just soldier on, but my community started yelling at me to make one of these, and after the 7th or 8th time, I realized it was their way of saying I was loved. Me, loved.
I'm humbled by that, but a little humility is good for the soul.
What We Need and Cost Estimates:
I don't expect donors to buy me a new car. I'd settle for a used car that can reliably go from A to B. I'm hoping it won't be a money pit, so I'd like to get something with lower mileage. I also need something that can hold all of the equipment I use for work, so an SUV or minivan will probably be the winner.
I'd also like to avoid extensive financing. My income is so low due to the pandemic that I'm unlikely to get a good interest rate. But I will finance what we cannot raise, obviously.
So I'm setting a $3000 goal, and if we get to that, I'll probably cry.
If we exceed that, every additional dollar will ALSO go toward a vehicle, obviously. I'll keep receipts.
Timeline:
Obviously the sooner we get there, the sooner I can actually go buy the car. I'm also doing a concert to thank all donors on December 5th, so I suppose it's best if we get there before then.
What I'm offering in return:
So, yeah. See the concert poster below. Also, I'll let donors name the new vehicle, and get a sticker made to commemorate this and share photos of that. You guys can have a social media field day, and feel like ancient Lords and Ladies, patronizing artists.
Donors pledging larger amounts are also welcome to contact me privately about any work I could offer in trade. I'm a writer, editor, proofreader, graphic designer, website designer, musician, recording engineer, and music producer.
