This fall our students will return to the halls of Bishop McDevitt High School. Many changes will be made so that this can happen.
We will put into place a Hybrid Instruction Model. This will allow for the recommended six feet distance in classrooms, cafeteria spaces, and other locations, only half the students would attend school in person each day. On alternating days, students would participate in the same class live from home using a learning management system and classroom cameras.
The CDC has recommended that we replace all drinking fountains with water bottle filling stations. Unfortunately, this cost was not part of our operating budget this year and we are asking for your support to provide our students with safe drinking water.
This is an opportunity for you, the alumni to leave your mark on the walls of McDevitt permanently. The cost of each fountain is $2,100. You can divide that between a group, such as a championship team, a club, a group of friends, or in memory of someone who once roamed these halls.
