COVID 19 Bills, Living Expenses

My wife and I work as essential workers, she being a nurse and I work as City Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Recently, I was diagnosed with COVID-19, with the rest of my family being infected shortly after. I ultimately ended up hospitalized from Sep 29 through Oct 7th. During this time, I went from 190lbs down to 172, losing a lot of muscle mass in the process.

The staff at Immanuel Hospital was top notch as they used the most advanced techniques at their disposal, including some tentatively approved FDA treatments that really made a difference.

Our kids came through the illness very quickly, but my wife and I are still experiencing the after-effects of the virus. My wife will most likely be returning to work shortly, but my return to work is still a ways off, as I continue to try to regain my strength and lung capacity.

I know everyone is being hit pretty hard at this time, but I am swallowing my pride and asking for support in our time of need to ensure that we do not fall into dire straits. We will use any funds for medical bills, living expenses, and anything left over will be donated back to others in the community that need help.

Please forward to as many people as possible as I do not want to put anyone else in a difficult situation to help our family. Ultimately, we are hoping for several small donations that can turn into a major uplift for our family.
