Zara's arm surgery

Zara, a young, strong, kind girl has had over 13 operations this past year. Doctors in both Pakistan and Afghanistan where she has sought treatment have informed the family there is nothing left that they can do to help her. They have suggested for her to seek treatment in other countries such as India or Turkey.


Zara went to the hospital for a high fever and she was given an iv. The iv which was improperly administered caused her whole arm to become severely swollen as a result of an air embolism. For the past year she has endured 13+ surgeries and there is now a high risk that she  may lose her arm.


Her family has travelled through war-torn Afghanistan many times to Pakistan where she has been treated for the past year. The journey is  not only dangerous but strenuous on Zara. Her Mother has had to leave Zara's younger siblings for months at a time. The toll has become too much to bare.


Please help us save Zara because if she does not get the proper medical attention she will lose her arm or worse.
