Courtney’s fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Research Uk

Hi there, my name is Courtney and I will be running 1 mile everyday to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research Uk.

I am a student currently working for a construction company in Kent. Since I have joined Clarendon Homes I have arranged events raising almost £300 for a very important cause.

Before I started fundraising for Alzheimer’s Research I had no idea about dementia and the effect it could have on people and their families. If you click the link below you can find lots of information about Alzheimers which highlight the importance of research into this horrible diesease.

More than half of UK adults know someone who has been diagnosed with dementia. Globally, the numbers of people living with dementia will increase from 50m in 2018 to 152m in 2050, a 204% increase.
