Counselling Diploma Final Year

Hi everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to come to my site. As some of you know, I have been studying counselling since 2015 and about to embark on my final year of my diploma in counselling. I have already passed Level 2 and 3 in Counselling Skills and Studies and now onto Level 4, which is the Diploma.
The journey of a counsellor is much like being trained to be an athlete; vigorous, emotional and yet transformative because for every strain and sacrifice comes a new level of strength and resilience. I am being trained at Spurgeon’s College in Croydon which has been an excellent experience, my tutors and classmates have been first rate and a real source of practical and emotional support.

The course is not government funded, neither does it provide grants for students. In the last 2 years I have funded the £3,000 tuition fees per year myself with the support of my family.
The course also requires you to pay for your own personal therapy which can be anything between £20-£50 per hour. In addition, we have to complete 100 hours of placement hours with clients.
I currently have been working with Place2Be since April 2017, which is a charity that provides counselling for children between the ages of 4 - 18 years old. This placement I do during term time on a Tuesday which takes a whole day.
Around this I study and work as a child-minder and then Friday is a full college day. This leaves 3 days to work, which is not enough to fund my course this year, which is why I am expanding my need for support on a bigger level.
I need to have paid my course fees before June 2018 at the latest, as this is when my course year ends. It would mean the world to have your support, as I believe the work of a counsellor in todays world is fundamental in supporting peoples mental wellbeing.
