Cost of chemo and deductible for bone cancer care.

Hi, I am Tammy Vinton and was diagnosed with breast cancer 10/10/2010. I had double mastectomy and chemotherapy.

Unfortunately, Sept 2021, I was having problems catching my breath. 10 hours in the found my left lung was 3/4 full of liquid. After more test the determined o had stage 4 bone cancer from breast cancer.

Long story short I ran out of benefits because I returned to my job after covid and was layedoff. I was able to get Medical and living on $840 a month. I got wonderful care and never paid for for anything. I then moved to Colorado Springs and my Social Security kicked in, I didn't qualify for Medicare. Since July 1, 2023 I was able to continue chemo and cancer care. I now have $7000 in medical bills. The blessing here is Medicare starts Feb 1, 2024 and I found a no deductible medical plan. I still need to pay $175 for my PET scans every 9 weeks. Better than $1800 each scan.

I have been applying for every charity that I can qualify. I missed dead lines for 2023, I don't qualify because of my income.
