Cortez-Acosta Family Support

Jose Cortez-Acosta from the Maloney Properties, Inc. 140 Clarendon/Hotel 140 housekeeping team passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, 9/2/18 at home.  Jose was truly a valued and dedicated member of the 140 Clarendon team.  Jose came to work for MPI on a referral from his sister Mercedes Cortez who has worked for MPI for many years.  Jose leaves behind five children ranging in age from 10 to 21, and a large extended family, several of which are also MPI Employees at 140 Clarendon: his wife Rosa Gamonal, his sister Mercedes Cortez, his brother Victor Cortez-Acosta, and his sister-in-law Maritza Fuertes.  Jose loved spending time with his family, and also worked a second job to help support them.
 
We are all shocked and saddened by this family tragedy and would like to help Jose’s family in every way possible.  All donated funds will go to his wife Rosa to help cover funeral expenses and ongoing living expenses for the family.   Please keep the Cortez-Acosta family in your thoughts and help support this family in their dire time of need.
