Corporate Trip: Silicon Valley, CA

It is a new year and the Hispanic Business Student Association of Texas State University is #ThinkingBig and #GoingOutOfTheComfortZone!!! Hispanic Business Student Association of Texas State University is fundraising to cover travel costs for a trip to the Silicon Valley region of California. Already, we have secured meetings with the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative, the Latino Business Action Network, prominent Hispanic entrepreneurs in the region and Corporate America.
We are a non-profit student organization seeking exposure to the corporate and executive leadership world. Founded in 1994, we aim to create opportunities within the academic and business communities with the intention of developing proper business acumen, providing a medium for cultural enrichment, and encouraging the pursuit of true and ethical ideals. This year our organization received some of its greatest honors, one being the 2017 Volunteer of the Year from the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Texas State University awarded us with 2017 Professional Organization of the Year.
Our members come from all backgrounds from every corner of the lone star state, however most of them have never stepped foot outside of Texas. I want to show these amazing students there is a universe out there in which they can thrive and contribute. All they need to remember is their smile, work ethic, and belief in themselves. We would be most honored and thrilled with your contributing to help get there.
