Coronavirus PPE Face shields NHS & Medical Staff

As we are all very much aware at this time, we are experiencing possibly the most devastating pandemic the world has seen for centuries.  Throughout the last three months nearly everybody the world over has been effected in some way by the Corona virus.  Thousands of people have tragically lost their lives and more are continuing to be infected daily by this killer virus.  It is leaving worldwide devastation, and due to the rapid spread of it, countries are left completely overwhelmed and unable to provide sufficient health care apparatus and treatment to the masses that are falling victim.

We are endeavouring to try and help the NHS by raising money in order to print face shields for medical staff in the UK.  It is vital that these health care professionals have the appropriate protective attire, so that they can continue to save lives without putting themselves at risk.  Unfortunately the current situation has left many in a position whereby they are compromising their own health and safety, and run the risk of not only contracting the virus themselves, but consequently infecting their own families. The NHS needs our help, these people are having to risk their lives unnecessarily due to lack of PPE to protect themselves.

We urgently need donations so that we are able to purchase necessary supplies. We need more filament for our 3D printers, more Petg plastic roll for our laser cutters to produce face shields and more elastic strapping for the headbands.  Ideally we will also be looking to increase the machinery and tooling so that production can be on a grand scale and manufactured at speed.

When this awful pandemic has been defeated, and we no longer need to print and produce the face shields, all surplus merchandise will be donated to UK schools for educational purposes. 

I cannot stress enough the severity of this situation.  There is already a current shortage of sufficient eye protection in London hospitals, and the reality is that Britain is yet to reach the peak of the effects of Covid-19.  Things WILL get worse without our help.

Please donate whatever you can, no matter how big or small.  Every pound goes toward saving lives and protecting that of others.  We need to stand united in this very desperate time and pull together.  If we pool our resources, together we can defeat this virus and stop it claiming the lives of so many innocent victims.
