The Corner Grill has long been a staple of Bowling Green, Ohio. With the best hamburgs and breakfast in town, this 24/7 classic diner is more than a restaurant. To employees, it's home. To dedicated patrons, it's a nostalgic gathering place.
On Februaury 1st, the Grill was devastated by a kitchen fire. Most of the equipment was damaged beyond repair and the booths and tile floors were destroyed. The counter tops and stools were salvaged but need work to restore them to their original state. While an insurance policy is covering some of the contents, it's apparent that it will not cover all of the losses.
So many of you have asked where you can make your gracious donations that we decided a "GoFundMe" account would be the best way to organize everyone's donations. All monies will go directly to the restoration of the booths, stools and built-in shelving units and will replace the numerous kitchen appliances and tools that were lost to the fire. Though the Grill will indeed be gutted, we plan to recreate that same nostalgic charm to bring it back to its original glory.
We hope to reach our goal in a month so we can re-open as soon as possible. We miss you and can't wait to serve you again! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support we've received.
