Cork Acro is a community based Gymnastics Club in Carrigtwohill Cork. Our club is in existence since 1982. We cater for boys and girls from toddlers to late teens and also run a very successful GymABLE programme for children with additional needs.
Covid 19 has had a huge financial impact on the club, as well as a negative social and sporting impact on our members.
The club has been closed for most of 2020 which means we were unable to run our summer camps, fundraising displays and birthday parties which were all an important source of funding for the club in the past.
Our membership has been significantly reduced due to the impact of Covid and the restrictions in place for sport. As a full time premises we have high rent, utilities and insurance bills which must be paid in order to keep the club going. We did not get any rent break during the closures which has been difficult.
We will continue to credit every paid class which means we have credited classes in July/August and into Sept 2020, we will also continue to credit classes throughout the start of 2021.
We coach the most amazing young people who work so hard and are a credit to their families and the wider community. We are very proud of every club member from our toddlers to our National squad members and International competitors.
Please help Cork Acro to continue providing a service for them all.
