Cori's Cure

Donation protected
This page is a group effort to help a very inspirational woman, friend, and mother. Cori was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012 and has shown incredible strength and positivity since the very beginning of this battle. As we all know, cancer is a terror that touches (too) many lives. When it touches someone close to you, you have to help fight back. Cori has opted to seek alternative treatments that improve the way she feels rather than undergo chemotherapy, despite the recent news that the cancer is now stage IV and has spread from her bones to her liver. Although alternative treatment has allowed her to avoid the discomfort of radiation and chemotherapy, it has not allowed her to avoid the massive medical bills that come along with the pains and stresses of cancer. Cori's daughter, Alexa, has been a close friend of ours for many years. We are like sisters. Although separated by many miles, we share the many emotions that this family has endured during their struggle with cancer. We feel the unique agony of distance and being unable to be physically present to support our loved ones. Cori is a selfless person whom we have seen give back to her community and loved ones every day; she is always thinking of others before herself. She has been a figure of strength and vitality to us. She is "the cool mom" we all hope to be, the one watching movies with us at our pre-teen sleepovers, taking us on countless shopping expeditions, and never missing a dance recital. She helped each of us through our tricky teenage years, and now we have a chance to help her in the best way that we can. Since we as individuals can't cure cancer from our homes, we can try to help pay for her cure. The last thing that someone with stage IV cancer needs is the stress of paying medical bills. We are asking for help in alleviating some of that stress. Any amount will be accepted and greatly appreciated. All donations will go towards funding a cure for this woman that we love so much. Please hold Cori and her beautiful daughter Alexa in the light as they go through this together. If you'd prefer to send a check, message us.
