Cori Burns Memorial Fund

Cori Burns was a beacon of energy, strength, and light for all of those who were lucky enough to meet her. After a battle with a stroke last year, Cori bounced back with incredible resilience and was in a happy place in spite of any setbacks. Unfortunately, she suffered an aneurysm Friday morning and after emergency surgery, she had to be put on life support. On Tuesday, October 27th she passed onto heaven as an angel. Her passion for her family, for her friends, and for life will never be forgotten.

This fundraiser has been created to help  Cori’s family deal with the challenging and unexpected expenses of her passing. I was lucky enough to meet Cori in 2017 when I joined Atlanta United Fan TV and from the outset she was kind and welcoming. She brought energy into the room whenever we filmed that would pick us up even when we were down after a frustrating result. She was the kind of person that always made me smile whenever I saw her. I can unequivocally say that I am a better human being for having known Cori. Without her unwavering support Atlanta United Fan TV would not be what it is today.

The world has lost a vibrant and truly beautiful soul and she will forever be missed.
