Corey Legge - Live Gig Streaming 'Tip Jar'
As you are no doubt aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the total loss of income for many within the music and arts community, and indeed the broader community in general. I have personally lost over 40 gigs, including my entire single launch tour, two European tours, and many other local shows. This leaves me heavily reliant on income from casual teaching work, which is becoming rare as hens teeth.
I have started this GoFundMe page so that fans of my music can donate money to watch my live streamed gigs on Instagram and Facebook, which will replace the shows that I have lost. This money will help pay for my upcoming album expenses. You can donate as little or as much as you like!
As you all know, I recently recorded my 2nd album 'Some Days' in New Zealand with award-winning producer Ben Edwards (Julia Jacklin, Marlon Williams). I have completely self-funded the album to this point, but without any steady income over the coming months, it is a daunting prospect having to pay the incoming bills relating to graphic design, printing, postage, filming, press campaigns, and management fees. My first single/video 'Last Night I Dreamt of You' is due for release on Thursday 2nd April 2020, with the full-length album 'Some Days' due out in mid-2020.
