On April 7th Corey Charles passed away; An unexpected sudden casualty of COVID-19. Corey left behind his two young children; as well as many family members and friends.
If you had the pleasure of knowing Corey as we did, you undoubtedly know he cared deeply for his children and loved being a father. It is a tragedy that his boys will have to grow up without his support and presence in their daily lives.
(The mother of Corey's youngest has reached out and expressed that she would not like to participate or receive funds from our fundraiser. In light of this, all of the funds will be invested in Ashton's education.)
As such, we, the friends of Corey Charles, would like to ask for your help to make things a little bit easier for Ashton in his absence. In memory of Corey’s dedication to Ashton, we want to help provide the choices and opportunities we know Corey would have wanted him to have. Our hope is to help with financial support to access the post-secondary education of his choice.
All of the funds raised will be placed into an Educational Fund in Ashton's name for him to use when he comes of age.
Corey will not be able to see Ashton grow up or help him achieve his goals and dreams. But we hope that we can help Corey with a lasting legacy of support for Ashton's future.
