Hi im Stephanie Gonder mother of the now disabled Coremiya Gonder. To recap her story about a year ago she got hurt on school property and ended up being disabled. She had her right leg amputated above the knee. Coremiya is still full of life and she has a smile to prove that she is strong. I wish i was as strong as her. I cry at night because I cant afford to provide for us. Me and my 6 children are in need of housing. I have applied to many different organizations and still no help, I have ran out of options. It hurts me so bad not knowing where we will lay our heads in a few weeks. I am not writing this out of pity I am writing this because I desperately need help. I pray and I do what i have to do to maintain but God gives us wisdom and also help in time of need. I am out of work because of her many appointments back and forth to Atlanta each week. With her upcoming surgery I cant start a new job and have to take time off. I wish I could but life isnt set up that way. Anything helps and we are almost at our goal.
