Coppafeel! and Brave the Shave

Donation protected

When someone you care about is diagnosed with breast cancer you want to do everything you can to take it away from them. Failing that you want them to know they are not going through it on their own.

Well, that is how we, David and Tracy felt when our lovely friend Kirsty was diagnosed. We have known Kirsty for over 5 years after she first attended Cafe Christos, a community cafe supporting new mums run by South Ossett Baptist Church and led by Tracy. Kirsty and her wonderful family soon became family friends to our family.

Their determination and positivity since diagnosis 3 months ago has left us astounded by the strength of human nature and above all love. Read all about Kirsty's journey in her blog - www.radiatingpositivity.co.uk

When faced with the prospect of losing her hair there is nothing else we can do but stand with her in the only way we know how - we will both lose our hair too.

50% of all money raised will be donated to Macmillan - Brave the Shave and the other 50% to Coppafeel! therefore equally to awareness and treatment and care.

At 4pm on Saturday 4th September we (Tracy and David Shields) will be Braving the Shave at 76 Broadowler Lane, Ossett, WF5 0QJ, come and join us or please dig deep and donate whatever you are able - thank you.
