Co-Pay for Wes' Cancer Treatments

Donation protected
Wes is a husband, father (of 3), grandfather (of 7), brother, uncle and friend.  He has been fighting cancer for the past 9 years.  Let me tell you his story.
He was first diagnosed with lung cancer and after surgery and chemo, he beat it.

His company “retired” him as his job was too physically demanding.

Within a few years, his cancer reappeared in his lungs and after another round of surgeries and chemo, he beat it.

He and his wife lost their home as they could not afford the cost of treatments and maintain their house.

In 2016, on the eve of his daughter’s wedding, he was diagnosed with liver cancer.  He said he wasn’t sure he had enough fight left in him, but he did.  The oncologists treated him with targeted ablations and he beat it.

The small pension he had ran out.  He tried to get employed and even took computer classes to improve his skills; but he felt his age and health issues prevented him from being hired. He started driving for Uber.

The summer of 2017, anxiously waiting for the birth of his two grandsons, he was diagnosed with cancer (again).  This time he was told it spread through his liver, lungs and heart.  He is currently fighting this latest diagnosis.  Not only is he receiving chemo weekly, he contracted pneumonia over the holidays.

He cannot work and he has no pension or savings.  What little he had has been spent on co-pays, prescriptions and other forms of therapy.  He has had to forgo some recommended treatments as the insurance company has denied claims.

Wes has had too many surgeries and chemo to count.  He has been fighting his cancer for the past 9 years.  This is a man who would literally give you the shirt off his back.  Please help however you can, so he can continue with the treatments he needs and does not have to be worried about affording his co-pays as he heads in to a new year.
