Cooper's Fight to a Full Recovery

This is Cooper Vanek. He means the world to me.
On the eve of 12/11/17, he got out of the house and as my roommates and I were attempting to corral him, he was unfortunately struck by a car.
Those who know me well enough, know that the softest spot I have in my body, is for animals. With that being said, let me back track a bit before going on.
I adopted Cooper months ago from a local pound, and since then he has truly changed my life. From the first day i visited him, i knew he was my dog. We instantly connected, and it was not long until he was my shadow. There is no greater feeling in life, then to be loved unconditionally. Those who have met him, know I call him my son, and as a parent; you never give up on your children in their times of need. And that brings me to the challenges:
After staying at an emergency vet for the night, now Coop is receiving around the clock treatment to relieve internal bleeding as he has suffered major blood loss, trying to return levels in his liver to normal, stitching up current wounds, as well as putting a surgery to repair his hind leg off until he is able to handle surgery/anesthesia from an internal aspect.
Cooper is more than just "man's best friend" to me, he is family. And I am willing to do whatever it takes to save this part of my own family's life, but understand that there is a price tag associated with that. As a young adult, fresh out of college, I am unable to fully afford the costs associated with saving his life, and treating his ailments.
That is where the wonderful platform of GoFundMe comes in. I appreciate any donations and will continue to make updates on his status, and how he is progressing. It is only day 1, but his second blood test showed encouraging results! I look forward to him making a full recovery. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out and ask.
