Cooper's surgery bills

Meet Cooper, my 20 month old cocker spaniel, who’s the friendliest, cheekiest, brightest puppy ever.....until one morning 2 weeks ago.He got more poorly by the day. Several investigations later, they found it - a 6cm stick in his stomach. Worse, it had pierced his chest and skewered his organs together. To save his life they would need open up and repair his tummy, then go into his chest. Depending what they found, they may have to split his breastbone. Of course, I said do it. It was way worse than they hoped - a hole in his diaphragm, a resulting abscess, a damaged lung, and more stick fragments in his chest. But following 6+ hours in surgery, several days in a High Dependency Unit and a clinically insane owner, he made it. He’s a tough little fellow.

Unsurprisingly, the bill came to a couple of dog biscuits short of ten grand. The reason I’m appealing is because I just don’t have it. I’ll spare you the hows and whys, but suffice to say, this isn’t because  I splashed out on a new Range Rover last week. Many of you immediately offered to help with this so here we are. Coops and I would be incredibly grateful if you can. If not, thanks anyway - your thoughts, prayers and wishes have already helped more than I can say.
