Cool It, for Christ's Sake!

Cool It,  For Christ’s Sake ! A small multi cultural church in Savannah GA  needs your help.  The central  air conditioning for the church building has stopped working and needs to be replaced. The estimate for replacement including new duct work is $30,000. This is a staggering sum for church with about 50 members. We have two worship services every Sunday divided between Korean worship and English worship. Raising money for a new air conditioner at first may appear to be solely about the comfort of the congregation. IT IS ABOUT FAR MORE THAN THAT! ☆ Air conditioning facilitates the worship of God and the study of God’s Word by reducing distraction caused by the noise of fans, heat, and noise coming through open windows. ☆ Air conditioning increases participation by reducing reasons to stay away from church. ☆ Air conditioning assists in outreach to visitors because few people will return to a church that they do not feel comfortable in. ☆ Air conditioning does more than make the air cooler, it also regulates humidity making it easier on people with arthritis or other maladies affected by changes in weather.
