Cooke Family Harvey Damage Fund
Donation protected
In late August, Hurricane Harvey slammed into the Texas coast and made its way over Houston where it dumped over 56 inches of rain. The Cooke Family was home during the storm and woke up to rising water in their home. They had to wade through neck deep water and were eventually rescued, but came close to drowning. They lost everything in the storm and are still trying to piece together their lives. They did not have flood insurance and have been denied by FEMA due to the property being owned by a family member. They plan to rebuild their home, but need all of the help they can get.
